What is M2R?

M2R-MX-web_img.jpg

The Revolutionary Two Brothers Racing M2R Quick-Pack Canister- featuring REM™(Ridiculously Easy Maintenance)

Two years in the making, the all new Two Brothers Racing® M2R REM Exhaust Canister is a quantum leap forward in motorcycle exhaust technology.
Silencer re-packing on the M2R can now be completed in minutes, without removing the muffler from the bike and without having to drill out and replace pop-rivets.
An industry first...and long overdue.

The Goal: A racing motorcycle is all about more power and less weight and an exhaust system is the first step towards accomplishing that goal. The ultimate racing exhaust system has no muffler at all, as seen in F1 and MotoGP. In the real world however mufflers are required so the motorcycle does not exceed noise level restrictions. No performance muffler makes more power and has less weight than the tried and proven straight-through perforated core design. This is the reason that race motorcycles use them. And the porous fiber-mineral packing around the perf-core is what makes it a muffler, attenuating the sound output.

The Problem: The packing material around the perf-core becomes brittle after repeated heat cycles, once brittle it loses its ability to dampen sound. Furthermore it eventually brakes down and is blown out by the exhaust gases through the core’s perforations. Periodic repacking of a performance exhaust system is essential to maintain peak power output and eliminate excessive noise. A blown-out muffler loses as much as 50% of the power gain it had when new and the resulting noise generated is offensive and most often, illegal.

The Solution: The new Two Brothers Racing M2R REM muffler is the byproduct of their depth and understanding of a motorcycle performance exhaust system. TBR understands all too well the realities of keeping up with the essential and unnecessarily difficult maintenance required on a racing muffler.  Our new and patent pending design, is revolutionary. Now riders can —regardless of their mechanical ability— tackle a muffler re-pack job quickly and easily.
The secret is in the M2R’s modular system. Muffler re-packing is done from the outlet end of the canister while the muffler is still on the bike. Behind the familiar TBR Magnesium end cap and under their unique P-series power tip is a proprietary core lock system that holds the outer end cap, muffler core and packing in place. Easily removed with the included tool, the spent packing slides out and a new, press-formed packing cartridge slides right in.

TBR Juice Box™ Fuel Controller and Power Commander

Juice_Box_img_4_web_300px.jpgPCOnly_Product.jpg

What is the difference?

We sell both Juice Boxes and Power Commanders.  Both products do a similar thing but in different ways.  The Juice Box is designed for customers who want a simple and cost effective fuel injection solution to increase the performance of their vehicle with as little effort as possible.

TBR Juice Box
  • Costs $299.98 which is $60 less than the Power Commander
  • Pre-programmed by TBR to maximize the performance of TBR exhaust systems
  • Does not require the use of a computer to make adjustments
  • Increases horse power
  • Improves throttle response
  • Improves smoothness while cruising
  • If the Juice Box is faulty, the vehicle will revert back to its stock running condition and the LEDs on the Juice Box will indicate a fault
  • Load Based technology increases performance while maintaining fuel economy
  • Is plug and play with OEM style connectors with no wire tapping required
  • Has 3 to 6 simple color coded push button adjustment modes to make simple but effective adjustments to the vehicles fuel curve
  • Smallest and lightest product of its kind on the market
  • Race Only and Road Legal Versions are available

The Power Commander III and V
  • Costs $359 which is $60 more than the Juice Box
  • Does not come pre-programmed with a map to maximize performance of TBR exhaust systems
  • Does require the use of a computer to make adjustments
  • Maps can be downloaded from online and loaded into the Power Commander using a computer
  • Tuning is complicated so it is recommended to be taken to a Dynojet Tuning Center for tuning with Dynojet's Tuning Link Software which typically costs another $300-$400
  • Increases horse power
  • Improves throttle response
  • Improves smoothness while cruising
  • If the Power Commander is faulty, the vehicle will not run until the Power Commander is removed from the vehicle
  • Does not have Load Based technology to increase performance while maintaining fuel economy
  • Is semi plug and play with OEM style connectors but does require wire tapping the TPS wire with the risk of damaging the OEM wire
  • Has thousands of cells in a spreadsheet that each have to be adjusted to adjust the vehicles fuel curve properly
  • Larger and heavier than the Juice Box
  • Race Only and Road Legal Versions are available
