The entire line of TBR M & C Series canisters feature the same high level of quality construction and are designed to be fully serviceable in the event of damage (replacement parts are available, please call us), routine maintenance or the occasional repack1.
Two Brothers Racing’s M & C series spring-mounted slip-on canisters all feature our patented and exclusive lightweight thinwall die cast aluminum one-piece inlets and outlets. Our V.A.L.E.™ (patent pending) slip-on exhaust systems and flange-on systems feature CNC'ed aluminum inlets. These special designs provide for ease of maintenance as well as simplified construction, which is what a premium performance product is all about!
The exhaust note produced by all of our Top Level™ exhaust systems is best described as being deep and throaty without suffering from the shrill whine normally associated with other manufacturer's straight through muffler canisters.

Our new M-7 V.A.L.E.™ exhaust systems feature our exclusive Teflon coated, blunted, cast magnesium outlet and our exclusive X-Lite™ retaining ring. These exclusive Two Brother Racing features not only look great, but also significantly reduce the weight of the exhaust system.The V.A.L.E.™ inlet design eliminates the use of springs and creates an adjustable mount that is rock solid when fixed in place. The system also features a precision mandrel bent, thinwall s-bend tube, and for a full system, a header pipe custom fit for each model.
 | The P4 PowerTip™ was developed to fill the gap between the P1 and P1-X sound reducing tips. The P4 is more restrictive than our P1-X but quieter than the P1, reducing sound output between 5-6 dB on most pipes. Power loss is minimal. Not recommended for use with a spark arrestor screen. Porting
After about 20 hours of work I'm getting pretty close to finishing all my porting work. What I have done so far is the exhaust and intake ports in the cylinder heads, the throttle body, intake plenum, lower intake manifold and also the supercharger case. I will probably be done with everything in about another 6 hours and then I need to go back and polish everything. Some other details that are coming together are: I got the 4.2L crank on Monday and tomorrow I will be ordering rods, pistons, cam, bearings, main studs and a few other odds and ends.
Here are some phone pictures of some port work just for a basic idea of what has been done. Hopefully I will be able to round up a new camera pretty soon and get some high quality pictures. -

Pretty much done!
All fab and assembly work is done! All I have left to do to call the project officially complete is wire my intercooler pump (will be done tonight) install the new diff. and gears and exhaust. All the pipe went in fairly easy and believe it or not it all fits under the hood. Here are some pics.

The Goal: A racing motorcycle is all about more power and less weight and an exhaust system is the first step towards accomplishing that goal. The ultimate racing exhaust system has no muffler at all, as seen in F1 and MotoGP. In the real world however mufflers are required so the motorcycle does not exceed noise level restrictions. No performance muffler makes more power and has less weight than the tried and proven straight-through perforated core design. This is the reason that race motorcycles use them. And the porous fiber-mineral packing around the perf-core is what makes it a muffler, attenuating the sound output. | |
The Problem: The packing material around the perf-core becomes brittle after repeated heat cycles, once brittle it loses its ability to dampen sound. Furthermore it eventually brakes down and is blown out by the exhaust gases through the core’s perforations. Periodic repacking of a performance exhaust system is essential to maintain peak power output and eliminate excessive noise. A blown-out muffler loses as much as 50% of the power gain it had when new and the resulting noise generated is offensive and most often, illegal. | |
The Solution: The new Two Brothers Racing M2R REM muffler is the byproduct of their depth and understanding of a motorcycle performance exhaust system. TBR understands all too well the realities of keeping up with the essential and unnecessarily difficult maintenance required on a racing muffler. Our new and patent pending design, is revolutionary.
